Privacy Policy – Pallium Insights

This Privacy Policy applies to all apps and services published by Pallium Insights LLC, including HPM Exam Prep. We built our apps with privacy as a default — not an afterthought. Here is what that looks like in practice.

Short version: We do not collect your personal information. All study data stays on your device. We have no accounts, no tracking, and no advertising.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personally identifiable information. Our apps are designed to work entirely on your device without transmitting personal data to our servers. Specifically:

All quiz answers, progress scores, study history, and preferences are stored locally on your device using on-device storage (AsyncStorage). This data never leaves your device.
We do not require you to create an account, provide a name, email address, or any other personal details.
If you enter a promotional code, only an anonymous device identifier is sent to our server to validate the code and prevent duplicate use. No personal information is attached to this identifier, and it cannot be used to identify you.

2. In-App Purchases

Premium features in our apps are sold through Apple's App Store or Google Play. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never receive, store, or process your payment card information or billing details.

In-app purchase management is handled by RevenueCat, a third-party service. RevenueCat uses an anonymous app user ID to manage subscription status and does not have access to personally identifying information.

3. Analytics and Tracking

We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, behavioral tracking technologies, or any form of cross-app or cross-site tracking.

We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your information to any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Data Stored on Your Device

The following data may be stored locally on your device:

Quiz scores and answer history
Topic progress and mastery percentages
Study session history and day streaks
App preferences (such as light/dark mode)
Onboarding completion status

All of this data is stored only on your device. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed.

5. Children's Privacy

Our apps are intended for adult healthcare professionals. They are not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

6. Data Security

Because all study data is stored locally on your device, your data is protected by your device's own security. We recommend keeping your device updated and using a device passcode or biometric lock.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may provide additional notice within our apps. Continued use of our apps after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
